Intermediate Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain full stack functionalities within the AssetWorks GPS platform utilizing .NET 8 for the backend and Angular 20 for the frontend.

• Enhance and refine features across APIs, services, data access, and user-facing elements.

• Contribute to product enhancements including insights on driver behavior, fleet analytics, intelligent notifications, and operational suggestions.

• Collaborate with product management, QA, senior developers, professional services, and customer support to define requirements and provide maintainable solutions.

• Engage in code reviews, resolve issues, and contribute to team standards, patterns, and documentation.

• Keep up-to-date with advancements in Angular, .NET, testing, AI tools, and contemporary software engineering methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in full stack software development.

• Strong working knowledge of C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, RESTful services, and principles of object-oriented programming.

• Experience in developing and maintaining Angular applications, including components, services, and application state management.

• Familiarity with SQL relational databases and ORM frameworks like Entity Framework.

• Proficient in using GitHub or a similar version control system in a collaborative setting.

• Ability to work from written requirements or specifications and assist in clarifying details when necessary.

• Enthusiasm for employing modern development tools wisely to enhance speed, quality, and collaboration.

• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach to problem-solving.

• A degree, technical certification, or equivalent professional experience in software development.
