This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Collect, analyze, and document requirements for backend integrations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and support API integrations across systems.
• Convert business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Create and maintain comprehensive end-to-end workflow and integration diagrams.
• Work alongside engineering, QA, and product teams to ensure alignment on scope and delivery priorities.
• Identify and assist in resolving cross-team dependencies, risks, and obstacles.
• Participate in roadmap planning and refinement; engage in Agile ceremonies with the team.
• Relay status updates, risks, and significant decisions to promote seamless delivery.
• Over 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Proven experience working on backend-focused, integration-intensive projects.
• Strong knowledge of APIs and backend integrations (requests, payloads, push/pull flows, API contracts).
• Ability to create and interpret technical and workflow diagrams effectively.
• Experience in contributing to product roadmaps.
• Strong systems thinking and a comprehensive process mindset.
• Experience managing cross-team dependencies and navigating complex workflows.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business requirements and facilitate technical discussions.
• Demonstrated ownership, follow-through, and persistence in overcoming dependencies and obstacles.
• Proactive, with excellent self-management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and adept at stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
• Desirable: Background in Technical Business Analysis, software development, or a degree in Computer Science/Engineering.
• Desirable: Experience in the fintech or payments industry.
• Desirable: SQL skills for data analysis.
• Desirable: Hands-on experience utilizing AI tools in Business Analyst workflows.
