Interior Design CAD Drafter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare and update interior construction drawings using AutoCAD.

• Generate floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and interior details.

• Convert designer sketches, markups, and specifications into precise technical drawings.

• Integrate architectural, consultant, and field data into drawing sets.

• Uphold consistent drafting standards, including layers, annotations, dimensions, and file organization.

• Coordinate drawings to pinpoint inconsistencies or missing information.

• Revise drawing sets during the design and construction phases.

• Assist in creating drawing packages for client review, pricing, permitting, and construction.

• Relay questions and potential conflicts to the project designer or senior drafter.

• Oversee multiple projects while adhering to established deadlines.

• Execute additional tasks related to the position as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English (both written and spoken).

• 3–5 years of CAD drafting experience, preferably within the interior design sector.

• Required proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp; familiarity with Revit is advantageous.

• Experience in producing interior design or architectural construction documents.

• Knowledge of interior construction, materials, finishes, cabinetry, and basic millwork.

• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and consultant drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to adhere to established drafting standards and guidance.

• Proficient in managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while following established processes.

• Quick learner with the capacity to adapt to new systems and workflows.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and standard business tools (email, spreadsheets, document management).
