Interim CFO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee transaction readiness.

• Lead the financial analysis for mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

• Provide leadership in financial matters.

• Supervise a hands-on M&A modeler and scrutinize assumptions.

• Ensure precise, decision-ready financial evaluations.

• Transform incomplete or inconsistent financial and operational information into reliable materials for potential buyers.

• Collaborate directly with executive leadership, investors, and external advisors.

• Assist businesses during CFO transitions and interim leadership roles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience as a CFO in private equity-backed SaaS companies.

• Proven track record in leading sponsor-backed exits, including buyer due diligence and transaction preparation.

• Capability to guide a hands-on M&A modeler, challenge assumptions, and guarantee precise, decision-ready financial analyses.

• In-depth understanding of SaaS metrics, financial modeling, and transaction-related reporting.

• Skill in turning incomplete or inconsistent financial and operational data into trustworthy buyer materials.

• Ability to engage with executive leadership, investors, and external advisors in a dynamic environment.

• Familiarity with Salesforce data and Sage Intacct.

• Successful experience in guiding businesses through CFO transitions and interim leadership roles.

• Experience with mid-market companies and established financial planning and analysis (FP&A) teams.

• Immediate availability with the flexibility to increase working hours as required.
