This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +10 more states.
• Perform daily oversight and OSINT investigations into online threats, such as impersonation, stalking, NCII/deepfake content, doxxing, and threat attribution.
• Spearhead the creation of risk assessments and threat categorization.
• Synthesize extensive social media and open-source information into concise, actionable analyses.
• Prepare reports and presentations tailored to the needs of clients.
• Elevate high-priority threats and aid in communication with platform trust and safety teams, legal departments, and law enforcement partners.
• Oversee reporting timelines across multiple simultaneous accounts while maintaining a balance of time, scope, and quality.
• Contribute to the enhancement of Moonshot's investigative strategies and tools.
• Establish intelligence requirements, conduct continuous monitoring of client accounts, and execute targeted digital investigations.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in investigative processes and methodologies.
• Professional experience in conducting OSINT investigations or intelligence analysis in environments such as government, fusion centers, law enforcement, corporate security, GSOC, or similar intelligence contexts.
• Proficient OSINT skills along with experience in social media investigations.
• Ability to independently navigate large and complex datasets.
• Understanding of the intelligence cycle, which includes defining requirements, creating collection plans, and producing analyses.
• Capability to evaluate threat credibility and risk based on intent and capability.
• Competence in managing competing deadlines and shifting priorities across various accounts.
• Strong problem-solving abilities when dealing with ambiguous or incomplete data.
• Excellent written communication skills, capable of producing clear and actionable outputs.
• Proven history of delivering investigative or intelligence products for internal or client stakeholders.
• Comfort in regularly reviewing sensitive and potentially distressing content related to violence, abuse, or exploitation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both colleagues and clients.
• Capacity to work independently on a daily basis.
• Willingness to be on call occasionally and to work outside of standard hours.
• Must be eligible to work in the US.
• Required to pass a standard background check and relevant security clearance procedures as mandated by clients.
• Experience with AI tools for research or writing workflows, or a strong interest in learning about them (preferred).
