Integrations Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop customized solutions: You will act as the technical authority during client onboarding, architecting, testing, and deploying bespoke data integrations that meet specific client needs.

• Define scope and strategize: You will closely collaborate with the Implementations team to assess client data, delineate the technical scope, and establish precise effort estimates and delivery schedules.

• Ensure engineering excellence: You will produce robust, scalable, and secure code that follows internal best practices and maintains high-quality standards.

• Empower the operations team: You will design integrations aimed at operational efficiency, ensuring a smooth technical handover and establishing clear processes for post-go-live maintenance and support.

• Create scalable tools: You will pinpoint common integration patterns and develop reusable scripts, tools, and templates to enhance the efficiency of the entire Client Experience team.

• Own the documentation: You will generate and sustain comprehensive technical documentation for every deployed solution, including architecture diagrams, integration specifications, data dictionaries, and operational runbooks.

• Provide expert support: You will serve as the technical escalation point for integrations, swiftly addressing complex production issues that necessitate an in-depth understanding of your custom solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in a highly technical capacity, such as an Integrations Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Consultant.

• Expert-level proficiency in Python, along with significant experience in Golang (or similar compiled languages) and a working knowledge of Java.

• Mastery of SQL and a strong comprehension of both relational and NoSQL databases.

• Extensive practical experience in designing, implementing, and managing third-party API integrations.

• Demonstrated experience with cloud-based technologies, advanced scripting, and automation to address complex business challenges.

• Well-informed in the design, implementation, or administration of Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions to ensure secure and reliable data exchange.

• Consistently apply a profound understanding of industry best practices pertaining to system architecture, data security, and API design.

• Proven history of successfully designing, building, and delivering intricate technical enterprise solutions while aligning your technical approach with broader business objectives.

• Flourish in ambiguous situations, exhibiting a high level of autonomy to handle multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal oversight.

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field (a BS in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline is strongly preferred) or have equivalent professional experience.
