Integration Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and manage healthcare data integrations utilizing Python, HL7 v2, FHIR, REST APIs, and SQL.

• Work in partnership with product and delivery teams to convert requirements into scalable and testable integration workflows.

• Collaborate with offshore teams for implementation, review, and quality assurance.

• Oversee and enhance performance across active integrations, pinpointing and addressing bottlenecks.

• Contribute to the development of reusable components and integration templates that enhance delivery efficiency.

• Diagnose production issues, lead root-cause analysis, and ensure efficient resolution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in healthcare integration or interoperability engineering.

• In-depth knowledge of HL7 v2, FHIR, and X12 standards.

• Practical experience with Python and integration engines (such as Mirth, Rhapsody, InterSystems IRIS, or Redox).

• Proficient in working with RESTful APIs, JSON, and SQL.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities across both technical and non-technical teams.

• Strong ownership mentality with a focus on reliability, scalability, and quality.

• Familiarity with EHR APIs (such as Epic, Cerner, AthenaOne, or similar) is a plus.

• Experience in AI/ML data pipelines or healthcare analytics is an added advantage.
