This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Oversee financial administrative planning and control for large and complex development programs.
• Create Performance Measurement Baselines (PMB) for the purposes of earned value and project management.
• Develop Contract Work Breakdown Structures (CWBS) and associated CWBS Dictionaries.
• Assess program cost and schedule performance, identify trends, and supply information to the Project Leadership Team for corrective actions.
• Guarantee the effective application of EVMS utilizing standardized processes and tools.
• Provide reports on ongoing compliance reviews and periodic process audits, including DCAA, DCMA, and Joint Surveillance Process audits.
• Ensure that program margin positions are up-to-date, accurate, and align with program status.
• Engage with external customers by preparing, submitting, and reviewing customer cost and schedule-related data items.
• Act as the focal point for cost capture and deliver actual spend data on a weekly basis.
• Establish and uphold program cost baselines.
• Evaluate performance against established baselines.
• Integrate regular status updates and Estimate to Complete (ETC) updates based on inputs from CAM.
• Guide program teams through the month-end process.
• Reconcile data with accounting systems alongside project cost and schedule data.
• Offer monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales forecasts.
• Prepare and assess Estimates at Complete (EACs) and provide financial support to assigned program teams.
• Ensure adherence to the Mission Systems EV System Description.
• Collaborate with government and internal EV auditors.
• Support program reviews.
• Take part in proposal development.
• Adapt to unforeseen events and meet critical deadlines while furthering Mission Systems objectives and initiatives.
• Travel may be required up to 10%.
• A University Degree is typically required, along with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• A background in program controls and EVMS is essential.
• Familiarity with Earned Value Cost Engines/Software is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly extensive experience in Excel.
• Experience with SAP is necessary.
• Knowledge of corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is expected.
• Understanding of Continuous Improvement concepts is beneficial.
• Experience in presenting to large groups and leadership is advantageous.
• U.S. citizenship is required; only U.S. citizens are permitted to access information related to this program/contract.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% is necessary.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Familiarity with company business systems and policies, contracting processes, and earned value management techniques is preferred.
