Intake Client Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Assess incoming Medical Service Authorizations and related medical documents to establish new clients, update current clients, and close accounts as necessary.

• Communicate and follow up with Agency Case Managers through email, State Portal Messaging, and phone calls.

• Identify and resolve account-related issues.

• Collaborate with Logistics, Customer Care, Billing, and Compliance teams.

• Support other departments with inquiries related to Intake.

• Oversee a queue of incoming documents within the CRM system.

• Function within service level agreements while ensuring accuracy for billing and compliance.

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Prior experience in data entry.

• Strong analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

• Capability to troubleshoot issues promptly.

• Proficient in navigating various computer systems and applications and utilizing search tools effectively.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt as required in a fast-paced setting.

• Proven track record of achieving high production and quality standards.

• Capacity to work well both in collaborative and independent environments.

• Genuine desire to assist others.

• Previous experience in adhering to company policies and demonstrating core values.

• Reliable wired internet connection via an ethernet port; cable modem/service or fiber optic is mandatory.

• A quiet workspace free from distractions.

• Must reside in Iowa.

• Some college experience or equivalent is preferred.

• Familiarity with medical billing terminology is preferred.

• Ability to perform repetitive wrist, hand, and/or finger motions.

• Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.

• Visual acuity including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
