
Intacct Consultant – Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Provide expert consulting services within the Sage Intacct Construction suite, encompassing configuration, implementation, and support across various modules such as Job Costing, Project Billing, and Construction Payroll.
• Evaluate client business processes and identify pain points, crafting customized solutions to enhance value and operational efficiency.
• Facilitate discovery sessions, conduct fit/gap analysis, design solutions, and plan for implementation.
• Oversee full lifecycle project delivery, including configuration, training, user acceptance testing (UAT), data migration, and Go-Live assistance.
• Act as a subject matter expert for system integrations with third-party solutions, including Procore, payroll systems, and others.
• Offer post-implementation support and resolve escalated client issues, collaborating with Sage Intacct Support as necessary.
• Aid in the creation of documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials to promote client success.
• Keep abreast of product enhancements and ensure clients leverage the full capabilities of Sage Intacct.
• Encourage internal knowledge sharing, mentor junior consultants, and participate in practice development initiatives.
• Actively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts in partnership with account managers.
• Prior experience in the Construction Industry.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing and supporting Sage Intacct for Construction, including Construction Financials, SCM, Payroll, Real Estate, or SFO.
• Understanding of construction-specific workflows such as job costing, retainage, subcontractor management, billing, and change orders.
• A minimum of 3 years of consulting experience with ERP systems in the construction or real estate sector.
• Experience working with or transitioning from legacy systems (e.g., Sage 300 CRE, Sage 100 Contractor, Viewpoint, Acumatica, Deltek, or Procore).
• Solid understanding of ERP architecture, process optimization, and system integration strategies.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Construction Management, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field.
