Insurance Technician I – Billing, Life Insurance Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Ensure the proper dispatch of billing kits to clients, thoroughly checked and within established SLAs, to guarantee timely payment processing by due dates.

• Receive and validate the billing files/data submitted by clients, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.

• When an analysis of the Enrollment/Application Form is necessary, take responsibility for reviewing, sending, and following up with both the insurer and the client.

• Upload files to insurers' websites or transmit them via email.

• Retrieve invoices from insurers' websites/channels, verify accuracy, and forward them to clients; if discrepancies are identified, return them to the insurer for rectification.

• Maintain files provided by clients and insurers within each client's internal system.

• Generate reports and allocations utilizing internal tools, adhering to the format requested by the client.

• Distribute billing kits, ensuring they contain the necessary files and are sent to clients via email or system within established SLAs.

• Negotiate due-date extensions for boletos (payment slips) with insurers/operators in the event of internal failures or delays.

• Address clients' inquiries through email or phone communications.

• Manage endorsement entries within Alper's internal system.

• Ensure internal controls are meticulously completed and kept up to date.

• Focus on small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) clients, typically involving up to 200 lives.

• A high school diploma is mandatory; university studies in Business Administration, Insurance, or related fields are preferred.

• Proficiency in Office Suite / Google Workspace.

• Fundamental understanding of Group Life Insurance.
