Billing Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Oversee client billing processes to ensure adherence to contractual agreements.

• Assess and modify client statements as needed.

• Prepare and dispatch all paper and secondary claims.

• Digitize documents into patient accounts.

• Evaluate correspondence and conduct follow-ups as required.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Certification as a Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) is required within 9 months of employment - Company Paid.

• 1-2 years of experience in hospital billing.

• Preferred experience in hospital operations, compliance, and provider relations.

• Experience in Insurance Follow-up.

• Background in home health care (billing aspect).

• Familiarity with Epic software.

• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, and managed care.
