This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Oversee accounts to detect outstanding debts.
• Analyze historical data for each debt or invoice.
• Contact accounts payable representatives, administrators, and others as necessary via calls and emails to inquire about overdue payments and upcoming obligations.
• Determine the underlying reasons for non-payment.
• Address billing issues.
• Provide updates on collections and the status of accounts receivable.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure accurate and current information regarding client contracts and other details.
• Keep logs of calls and document any payment updates received from customers.
• Accept new assignments to initiate contact with customers, establishing a positive relationship by introducing yourself and collecting the necessary information.
• Identify key accounts and escalate them to managers when necessary for appropriate follow-up actions.
• Foster relationships with workplaces by clearly setting expectations about our billing policies, including explanations of NET & Dispute Terms.
• Develop SMART action plans for overdue accounts.
• Strive for a 95% collection rate on a quarterly basis.
• Exceptional and clear communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with numbers and data.
• Sound judgment in customer-facing situations and live interactions.
• Receptive to feedback (high "coachability").
• Capability to cultivate relationships with customers.
• Exemplary professional conduct (e.g., punctuality, following through on commitments, etc.).
• Proficient in active listening.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Patience and ability to manage stress effectively.
• Proficient problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Quick adaptability to change.
• Preferred: experience with Google Drive suite, Slack, Salesforce, and soft phone applications such as Amazon Connect.
• Generally expected to adapt to advancements in technology.
