Resident Billing Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Resident Billing Research Queue, investigating, researching, and resolving significant issues related to utility billing.

• Evaluate work produced by Resident Billing Operations to pinpoint financially impactful errors.

• Implement adjustments for future billing periods when financially significant errors are identified.

• Conduct root cause analyses on financially impactful errors to discover gaps in existing processes.

• Partner with operational leaders to propose recommendations and remediation plans, ensuring that issues are properly addressed.

• Address escalations from client success, exercising full discretion in determining the best course of action to resolve issues and ensure timely and accurate billing.

• Review system alerts for the precision of billing and rate calculations before client assessments.

• Finalize and evaluate billing modifications and line-item allocations for regulatory compliance.

• Offer additional operational and tactical assistance to the Operations team when capacity allows.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a billing, financial, or accounting position.

• More than 1 year of experience in auditing, data, or research analysis.

• Strong analytical abilities with a knack for interpreting complex data and identifying improvement areas.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively conveying intricate concepts to varied audiences.

• Experience in Multifamily, Utility Billing, or Invoice Processing is preferred.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
