This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• The Insurance Operations team is tasked with all administrative and operational functions that facilitate underwriting. This encompasses:
• Policy management: creating, issuing, and modifying policies, endorsements, renewals, and client documentation.
• Premium management: generating invoices, processing payments, tracking outstanding premiums, and collaborating with the Finance department.
• Communication with brokers and clients: dispatching renewal requests, gathering questionnaires, requesting updates, and supplying policy documents.
• Bordereaux & reporting: preparing and submitting monthly bordereaux and additional required reports to insurers, ensuring data precision and adhering to reporting deadlines.
• Compliance: conducting UBO checks, maintaining compliance documentation, and assisting with audits.
• Data management: ensuring that client files, documents, questionnaires, and information are comprehensive, accurate, and current.
• Process & system support: updating work instructions, assisting with ANVA/Insly processes, and reporting issues or areas for improvement.
• General operational assistance: prioritizing tasks, supporting underwriting, monitoring deadlines, and ensuring seamless daily operations.
• You will be an integral part of the project team responsible for the implementation of our new insurance platform.
• A Bachelor’s degree or completed dual study (BBL / duale Ausbildung) in insurance, business, finance, or a related area.
• Up to 2–3 years of experience in commercial insurance — underwriting, policy administration, or insurance operations.
• Strong organizational skills: you can manage your own tasks and recognize when to seek input on intricate challenges.
• Proficiency in Dutch or German, as well as English (both written and spoken).
• Detail-oriented and dependable — you take responsibility for data accuracy, deadlines, and the quality of your work.
• An enthusiasm for working with or learning about digital tools; any experience with insurance platforms (e.g., Insly, ANVA) is advantageous.
• Flexible location: based in the Netherlands or Germany.
• Make a significant impact — assist organizations across Europe in safeguarding against cyber threats, collaborating with individuals from intelligence agencies and military backgrounds.
