This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee and enhance Insure Our Future's social media platforms, including LinkedIn and Instagram.
• Develop social media content, including posts, graphic briefs, short videos, campaign explainers, blogs, website materials, and other communication assets.
• Maintain a regular publishing schedule and content rhythm.
• Collaborate with creative agencies, designers, and content producers to produce campaign materials.
• Keep an eye on trends and suggest content to enhance campaign visibility and audience interaction.
• Assist with occasional paid digital advertising efforts.
• Monitor performance metrics and optimize content effectiveness and audience growth.
• Coordinate communication opportunities and content requirements with partners across various working groups.
• Promote partner actions, reports, events, media highlights, and campaign initiatives.
• Ensure consistency in messaging and narrative alignment throughout the network.
• Develop collaborative communication plans for significant campaign events.
• Manage website updates, including blogs, reports, statements, and press releases.
• Balance multiple priorities across working groups while maintaining partner relationships.
• Contribute to the digital campaign strategy for key insurance objectives and campaign events.
• Support online initiatives, petitions, supporter mobilizations, and digital advocacy strategies.
• Assist with campaign communications concerning policy announcements, insurer decisions, AGMs, reports, and action days.
• Identify areas where digital communications can enhance pressure on targets and boost public engagement.
• Support media-facing opportunities through content creation, amplification, and rapid-response communications.
• Proven experience in managing social media channels for advocacy, campaigns, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations.
• Strong writing and storytelling abilities to convey complex issues clearly and effectively.
• Experience in creating content tailored for various digital audiences and platforms.
• Knowledge of digital campaigning, public mobilization, and strategies for narrative change.
• Experience in coordinating communications among multiple stakeholders, partners, or organizations.
• Capability to work independently, juggle competing priorities, and respond swiftly to emerging opportunities.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience working remotely with international teams and partners.
• Exceptional written English proficiency.
• Initial 6-month contract with the potential for renewal and/or increased hours based on funding availability.
