This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
• Complete foundational training for Personal Lines insurance.
• Assist with personal lines policies by addressing customer inquiries regarding coverages, discounts, registrations, and claims.
• Execute policy transactions utilizing various carrier systems.
• Identify opportunities to enhance insurance coverages and suggest suitable services and products.
• Process discounts received via email or mail, ensuring effective dates are applied and documentation is verified.
• Investigate premium discrepancies and determine their causes.
• Gather information from master files, selling agents, and insurance companies to rectify discrepancies.
• Communicate with insured individuals to clarify premium differences.
• Exchange information with insurance companies, underwriters, banks, car dealers, and other parties to complete insurance documentation.
• Foster and maintain customer relationships, while identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery.
• Comply with AAA’s Five Diamond service standards when managing customer inquiries.
• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
• A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience is required.
• Successful completion of CSR training is essential.
• Personal Lines License must be obtained within the first 30 days.
• Passing the Personal Lines Insurance state exam within the first four weeks is necessary to retain the position.
• Direct access to a modem and high-speed internet is required.
• A quiet workspace free from distractions is essential.
• Availability to work on two of the following holidays: Juneteenth, Columbus Day, or Veterans Day.
• Residents of RI and NJ must undergo applicable in-person background checks, fingerprinting, and criminal history checks after passing the state licensing exam.
• Availability for specified training and work schedules is required.
