Instructional Designer – Learning & Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain captivating learning materials for onboarding, upskilling, and ongoing education programs.

• Create various learning content formats, including instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, self-paced, and blended learning, adhering to instructional design best practices.

• Convert intricate operational processes, workflows, and product knowledge into clear and learner-friendly training materials.

• Develop organized learning paths, certification programs, knowledge assessments, and practical learning activities.

• Collaborate with Operations, Training, Quality, and Subject Matter Experts to gather requirements and ensure that learning content accurately reflects current operational processes.

• Aid in knowledge transfer activities during new client implementations, program transitions, and process modifications.

• Regularly review and revise learning content based on operational feedback, quality insights, learner performance, and business needs.

• Maintain version control and governance over learning documentation, job aids, facilitator guides, participant materials, and knowledge repositories.

• Assess learning effectiveness through learner feedback, assessment outcomes, and operational performance metrics to suggest enhancements.

• Ensure that learning content is aligned with adult learning principles and accommodates various learning styles.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to boost learner engagement, knowledge retention, and operational readiness.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in an Instructional Designer, Learning Content Developer, or a similar Learning & Development position.

• Preferred experience in designing learning solutions within Customer Support, Player Support, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Gaming, or comparable operational settings.

• Strong grasp of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.

• Relevant certifications in Instructional Design, eLearning development, or adult learning methodologies are advantageous.

• Exceptional written communication, content writing, and information structuring skills.

• Ability to distill complex operational concepts into engaging and easily digestible learning experiences.

• Experience in developing instructor-led, e-learning, self-paced, and blended learning programs.

• Proficient in creating assessments, quizzes, facilitator guides, learner guides, job aids, and knowledge documentation.

• Strong project management and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders across Operations, Training, Quality, and Program teams.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Confluence, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

• Experience with instructional authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Vyond, or similar platforms is desirable.

• Basic skills in graphic design, multimedia, or video editing are a plus.
