This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct analyses of the organization, tasks, learners, and performance to uncover business needs, performance gaps, and learning opportunities.
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business leaders, subject matter experts, operations teams, and stakeholders to create cohesive learning strategies and solutions.
• Design and maintain instructional frameworks, storyboards, learning assets, and curriculum documentation.
• Create, develop, and implement instructor-led, virtual, blended, and eLearning solutions.
• Facilitate onboarding programs for new hires through both instructor-led and virtual training.
• Oversee comprehensive new hire onboarding initiatives, which include managing training logistics, monitoring learner progress, and refining content.
• Assess the effectiveness of learning initiatives using surveys, assessments, operational metrics, learner feedback, and performance data.
• Design and develop interactive training templates, modules, videos, job aids, and acknowledgments.
• Offer consultation and support for virtual learning delivery platforms and enterprise learning technologies.
• Assist with learning technology administration and work collaboratively with LMS administrators on deployment, tracking, and reporting.
• Maintain instructional resources, curriculum documentation, and repositories of learning content.
• Apply the ADDIE model and other relevant training methodologies.
• Monitor, track, report on, and analyze data from training surveys.
• Champion innovative learning strategies, technologies, and instructional methods.
• Review emerging learning technologies, instructional methodologies, and trends in learner experience.
• Develop learning objectives and structure learning activities accordingly.
• Provide mentorship, guidance, quality reviews, and thought leadership to instructional design and training team members.
• Manage multiple high-priority projects and stakeholder relationships at the same time.
• Implement accessibility, usability, and inclusive design principles.
• Recommend when non-training solutions may be more suitable than formal training.
• Establish standards, governance, and best practices for instructional design.
• Participate in additional projects or duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in instructional design, learning and development, talent development, or enterprise training settings.
• Proficiency in designing and developing instructor-led, virtual, blended, and eLearning solutions.
• Experience with Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, LMS platforms (preferably Workday Learning), and virtual learning technologies is required.
• Preferred experience in evaluating learning effectiveness and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be acceptable.
• Proven initiative and ability to follow instructions and complete tasks on time.
• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to effectively navigate ambiguity and frequent changes.
• Demonstrated skills in consulting, stakeholder management, facilitation, and relationship building.
• Competence in reporting, analyzing data, and drawing conclusions based on results.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in reading and writing English.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with various groups within the organization.
• Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional systems design methodologies.
• Experience in designing blended learning and virtual learning solutions.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
• Experience managing complex instructional design projects with competing priorities.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive learning practices.
• Ability to consult with leaders and stakeholders regarding business and performance needs.
• Experience in evaluating learning effectiveness and business impact.
• Knowledge of LMS reporting capabilities.
• Demonstrated sound judgment, decision-making skills, and strong attention to detail.
• Proven interpersonal skills with a diverse range of internal and external customers.
• Ability to establish and sustain collaborative partnerships across a wide array of professionals.
• Capacity to maintain a high energy level and handle multiple projects alongside daily responsibilities.
