This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Oversee the development of courses and curricula to guarantee adherence to quality standards and accreditation requirements.

• Support course mapping, course-level design, and the establishment of unit-level learning objectives.

• Utilize database-driven tools for course creation and evaluation processes.

• Maintain and update course records and data to ensure precise academic reporting.

• Incorporate visual design elements into online course materials, documents, and forms.

• Create interactive and engaging courses within the Learning Management System.

• Offer instructors constructive feedback on instructional strategies and teaching resources.

• Evaluate courses for quality, interactivity, and uniformity.

• Execute the Quality Matters framework.

• Collaborate with D3 staff on instructional graphics, images, banners, videos, animations, and infographics.

• Design courses, e-learning modules, and blended learning experiences using LMS and authoring tools such as Articulate 360 or Rise.

• Contribute timely learning content to the online Knowledgebase for course management system users.

• Stay updated with instructional design methodologies, technologies, and e-learning trends.

• Participate in continuing education activities and seek resources to address identified learning requirements.

• Work alongside faculty and the design team to determine instructional strategies, resources, course development, revision, and curricular assessment.

• Report both administratively and functionally to the Instructional Design Manager; no supervisory duties involved.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• Demonstrated experience in instructional design and instructional technology is required.

• Familiarity with learning theories and instructional design models is essential.

• Strong knowledge of course development, lesson planning, and curriculum design is necessary.

• Understanding of Learning Management Systems is required.

• A Master's degree in Instructional Design or a related field is highly preferred.

• Prior experience in teaching, training, or instructional design, or possessing an instructional design degree, is preferred.

• Proficiency in writing effective instructional text, audio scripts, and storyboards is strongly preferred.
