Instructional Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business leaders, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to identify learning needs and create effective learning solutions.

• Design, develop, and sustain learning experiences utilizing instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles across various modalities including e-learning, virtual instructor-led, instructor-led, and blended formats.

• Work cross-functionally to align learning solutions with business objectives, organizational standards, and the needs of learners.

• Assess performance gaps and propose learning strategies, content, and development methods that yield measurable business results.

• Develop interactive learning materials, job aids, assessments, and performance support tools.

• Oversee multiple learning projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.

• No supervisory responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or a related area.

• Proficient in designing and developing e-learning content using Articulate 360, including Storyline and Rise, as well as Camtasia.

• Experience with instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE, SAM, or comparable frameworks.

• Strong comprehension of adult learning principles and learning technologies.

• Proven experience in conducting learning needs analyses and converting business requirements into learning solutions.

• Excellent stakeholder consultation, communication, and project management abilities.

• Preferred experience with Synthesia, Adobe Audition, and video-based learning development.

• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems preferred.

• Experience in developing blended learning programs preferred.

• Professional proficiency in both English and Canadian French preferred.

• Experience in measuring learning effectiveness and utilizing data to enhance learning outcomes preferred.
