Instructional Design Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Evaluate training requirements across various business divisions.

• Develop effective learning solutions that support company-wide initiatives.

• Design and deliver instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, microlearning, and blended learning programs.

• Oversee instructional development projects from analysis through implementation using the ADDIE framework.

• Create microlearning, online learning, and classroom-based training experiences.

• Assess audiovisual materials to ensure that learning objectives are met.

• Design, develop, and implement both classroom and technology-driven training programs.

• Prepare, implement, and manage instructional development projects.

• Create project budgets and allocate necessary resources.

• Assist in the selection, development, and revision of courseware content for web-based and other media formats.

• Collaborate with various business areas and engage with cross-functional teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in instructional systems design, online course development, and SCORM-compliant content creation.

• Proficient in Articulate 360, including Storyline, Presenter, Quizmaker, and Engage.

• Skilled in Camtasia, SnagIt, Adobe eLearning tools, and Microsoft Office.

• Experience in creating multimedia learning assets and editing audio and voiceovers.

• Advanced AI capabilities using generative AI tools for content creation, learning assets, storyboards, assessment content, learner engagement, and training delivery.

• Capability to convert complex business concepts into engaging, learner-centered experiences.

• Ability to manage multiple projects at once and work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

• A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is required; equivalent experience is defined as four years of professional work experience in a corporate setting.

• One year of SCORM content development experience.

• One year of instructional system design experience.

• Four years of experience in website design and content development, including online training and course materials.

• Proficiency in editing voiceovers and recording audio using Sony Sound Forge or similar software.

• Ability to function independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team.

• Ability to apply the ISD/ADDIE model in the creation of learning models.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.

• Outstanding time and project management skills.
