This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee product and design for institutional offerings, guiding the process from user discovery and research to the launch of interfaces on both web and, when applicable, mobile platforms.
• Transform complex workflows related to clearing, settlement, and treasury into user-friendly processes that inspire confidence.
• Establish and maintain the product's design language, UX patterns, and interaction principles to ensure institutional users trust the visual experience.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to prototype, test, and deliver swiftly while maintaining high quality standards.
• Conduct user research and usability testing personally, integrating insights gained back into the product development cycle.
• Lead the product strategy and roadmap, identifying new opportunities, prioritizing tasks, and determining what features to release.
• A minimum of 5 years experience delivering institutional-grade products from concept to completion in fintech, payments, trading, clearing, or crypto market infrastructure.
• Proven history of launching products from 0 to 1 and refining them based on authentic customer feedback.
• Deep understanding of institutional user needs for control and transparency, with the ability to simplify sophisticated financial tools without compromising their complexity.
• Strong product judgment coupled with expertise in UX and information architecture for intricate financial products.
• Proficient in Figma and contemporary design tools, with a solid understanding of responsive design for both web and mobile applications.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers in dynamic remote settings.
• A portfolio demonstrating systems thinking and clear UX reasoning, beyond just polished visuals.
• Located in New York; while the position is officially remote, regular in-person interactions with clients and the core team are expected, necessitating frequent presence in the city.
