Installation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Execute the initial installation, configuration, and testing of AirStrip Generally Available software at client locations.

• Complete necessary installation and validation checklists as well as documentation for new installations and upgrades.

• Act as a project team member alongside the Delivery Project Management Office for installations and work orders.

• Assist in identifying customer technical architecture and the necessary work to ensure Airstrip products operate safely and effectively in the customer environment.

• Conduct updates, upgrades, and patches to Airstrip software located at customer sites.

• Provide Tier 2 support to clients and partners regarding the installation and operation of Airstrip and partner software.

• Offer after-hours (24/7/365) installation and support based on business requirements.

• Collaborate with Airstrip Development teams to transition new software and software versions into production.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (equivalent professional experience in a similar role will also be considered).

• Certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, ITIL 4 Foundations, Microsoft Technology Associate.

• 2-4 years of prior experience in technical/server support, or related Healthcare Information Technology experience.

• Experience interacting with healthcare IT vendors and hospital IT personnel on technical matters.

• Background in leading, managing, or serving as an escalated resource for other technical staff.

• 2-4 years of previous experience working with the HL7 messaging standard and HL7 interfaces, as well as DICOM interfaces.
