Install Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Execute installation or service tasks in a profitable and efficient manner

• Track productive time in relation to travel time

• Carry out preventive maintenance in accordance with customer-specific service plans

• Keep precise records of work done and parts utilized for each assignment

• Stay informed about updates to Stanley equipment and ANSI 156.10 standards

• Ensure manuals and relevant details are current

• Care for company vehicles, tools, and other assets

• Uphold a tidy personal appearance and deliver quality workmanship

• Maintain sufficient parts inventory in the service vehicle and manage inventory logs

• Conduct equipment testing and safety checks prior to departing job sites

• Foster positive customer relationships and provide excellent customer service

• Support and guide others in installation and service techniques

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• Valid state driver's license without restrictions

• Capability to lift 75–100 lbs

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Ability to drive for periods up to 2 hours

• Ability to stand on concrete for durations up to 8 hours

• Capacity to stoop, crouch, kneel, crawl, and occasionally twist the spine

• Vision should not be limited to near, far, or color

• Willingness to work in diverse climates

• Flexible work schedule, including nights and/or weekends as needed

• Preferred: prior experience in the construction sector or electrical field

• Preferred: experience in servicing automated doors, glazing, installing glass or door frames, interpreting blueprints, or AAADM Certification

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
