Inspection Coordinator – Environmental Licensing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Coordinate inspection teams both technically and operationally.

• Organize internal technical meetings and engage with contacts at the relevant environmental licensing authorities when required.

• Plan and oversee field campaigns and inspections.

• Lead teams comprised of various disciplines.

• Integrate assessments of flora, fauna, water resources, soil, vegetation, and socio-environmental elements.

• Determine inspection methodologies, routes, priorities, and schedules.

• Evaluate impacts, environmental liabilities, and instances of non-compliance discovered in the field.

• Review and validate inspection reports, records, and technical outputs.

• Monitor environmental conditions and associated programs.

• Collaborate with the project’s Technical Coordination/Management team.

• Take part in technical meetings with clients and environmental authorities when necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Forestry Engineering, Biology, Geography, Geology, or a related field within Environmental Sciences.

• Proven experience in planning and coordinating field campaigns and inspections.

• Demonstrated experience in leading multidisciplinary teams.

• Background in coordinating professionals working across physical, biological, and socioeconomic environments.

• Experience in integrating assessments of flora, fauna, water resources, soil, vegetation, and socio-environmental factors.

• Expertise in defining inspection methodologies, routes, priorities, and schedules.

• Experience in evaluating impacts, environmental liabilities, and non-compliance incidents noted in the field.

• Proficient in reviewing and validating inspection reports, records, and technical documents.

• Experience in monitoring environmental conditions and programs.

• Proven ability to liaise with the project’s Technical Coordination/Management team.

• Experience in participating in technical meetings with clients and, when necessary, with environmental authorities.

• Must reside in the state of Pará, Brazil.
