Insider Risk Technical Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Assess escalations from security teams, validate accompanying materials, and gather additional information to determine the suitable transition to the investigations team.

• Assist Global Insider Risk investigators by collecting evidence from various sources and compiling findings into thorough insider risk cases.

• Record findings and prepare documentation for escalation to the investigations team or facilitate decisions regarding alert closures.

• Collaborate with internal security teams to enhance and fortify the organization's overall security posture.

• Conduct triage of recent user activities and coordinate findings with pertinent stakeholders.

• Analyze logs from DLP, SIEM, EDR, and other security platforms to support the Insider Risk Program.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in an Insider Threat team, SOC, Threat Hunt/Intel, Digital Forensics and Incident Response, Cyber Risk Management, or related teams.

• Practical experience with SIEM platforms, DLP solutions, XDR, and eDiscovery tools.

• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.

• Capability to prioritize and carry out responsibilities autonomously with minimal oversight.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tackling technical challenges.

• A degree in Information Security, CyberSecurity, Computer Science, or a related field is highly preferred.

• Advanced training in specialized areas within CyberSecurity or professional certifications such as Security+, CISSP, GCFA, Microsoft SC-200, Splunk Core Certified User (SCCU), or similar are highly preferred.
