This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +2 more states.
• Lead the Veterinary Inside Sales Team to accomplish profitable sales growth objectives.
• Track weekly sales activities utilizing Salesforce and Vonage.
• Assist in lead qualification, prospecting, account penetration, and the development of the sales pipeline.
• Establish team sales targets and generate regular sales forecasts and performance reports.
• Collaborate with Divisional Sales Directors to provide a cohesive customer experience that supports field sales execution.
• Work together with Marketing, Strategic Accounts, Veterinary Affairs, and other business partners.
• Assess and enhance sales practices, tools, and processes.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop team members to achieve career and organizational objectives.
• Promote personal development, engagement, inclusivity, and a team-oriented mentality.
• Guide the team through change management initiatives.
• Ensure effective call coverage in alignment with hospital priority classification.
• Cultivate multi-level and multi-functional customer relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and business performance.
• Address escalated customer issues and team conflicts.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Veterinary Science is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in B2B Sales.
• Exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Proven experience in leading, motivating, and managing a sales team.
• Demonstrated success in an inside sales role.
• Established sales management experience, ideally in an inside or virtual sales setting.
• Strong grasp of sales performance metrics and forecasting.
• Familiarity with CRM software, particularly Salesforce.
• Capability to analyze data to uncover opportunities.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and embrace new challenges with urgency and enthusiasm.
• Willingness to travel overnight occasionally, around 10% of the time.
