This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• Take ownership of all Transactional accounts within a designated area and represent the complete LGC Standards product portfolio to both new and existing clients across various end-markets, including Pharma, Biotech, Environmental, and others.
• Identify and secure new prospect opportunities through a blend of prospecting, qualification, and collaboration with our marketing team or through self-generated leads.
• Actively communicate with customers via email, phone calls, and online meetings to qualify leads, convert prospects, follow up on quotes, and drive new sales.
• Leverage LGC’s sales tools and virtual capabilities to prospect, nurture, and close opportunities while conducting ongoing territory planning.
• Collaborate closely with marketing to introduce new products and work with the core end-market team to identify competitor activities and trends.
• Manage relevant service cloud cases daily, ensuring tasks are addressed promptly and response times are maintained.
• MSc in chemistry, physics, biochemistry, biology, or a related field (a combination of educational qualifications and experience will be considered).
• Proven track record in selling technical products utilized in laboratory settings.
• Successful history in account management.
• Proficient in customer relationship management platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of industry trends and market dynamics.
• Strong English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% as required.
