This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Take ownership of all Transactional accounts within a designated geography and represent the complete LGC Standards product portfolio to both new and existing customers across various end-markets, including Pharma, Biotech, and Environmental sectors.
• Identify and secure new prospect opportunities through a blend of prospecting and qualification, collaborating with our marketing department or generating leads independently.
• Proactively interact with customers through email, phone calls, and online meetings to qualify leads, convert prospects, follow up on quotes, and drive new sales.
• Utilize LGC’s sales tools and virtual capabilities to prospect, cultivate relationships, close opportunities, and perform continuous territory planning.
• Collaborate closely with marketing to introduce new products and work with the core end-market team to analyze competitor activities and trends.
• Manage relevant service cloud cases on a daily basis, ensuring timely resolution of tasks and maintaining guaranteed response times.
• MSc in chemistry, physics, biochemistry, biology, or a related field (a combination of educational qualifications and experience will be considered).
• Demonstrated experience in selling technical products used in laboratory settings.
• Proven success in account management.
• Familiarity with customer relationship management platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and the Microsoft Office suite.
• A track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets.
• Exceptional negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of industry trends and market dynamics.
• Proficient English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% as required.
