This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Accountable for initiating outbound sales calls to a targeted list of Healthcare Professional (HCP) contacts across the United States, as designated by the Commercial Team.
• Position oneself as the principal brand representative for Vivus.
• Keep communication lines open with HCPs and their support teams to ensure they are informed about product details and Patient Support Programs.
• Send follow-up emails and/or faxes after each telephone interaction with HCPs or prescribers.
• Meet and exceed sales objectives.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of contacts, sales calls, and associated conversations in Veeva (Customer Relations Database).
• Manage the ordering of Patient Support Materials as needed for both PANCREAZE and QSYMIA.
• Present detailed information on PANCREAZE and QSYMIA in accordance with FDA-approved product labeling, address inquiries regarding products, and facilitate medical information requests as necessary.
• Conduct Virtual Lunch-and-Learn (LNL) sessions with key HCP targets.
• May participate in Local and National Tradeshows as required.
• Oversee business expenses using Concur.
• Preferred experience in inside sales, tele sales, contact centers, customer service, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industries.
• Pharmaceutical Sales experience is preferred, particularly within the Gastroenterology sector, or 3-5 years of business-to-business sales experience.
• A Bachelor's degree from a 4-year accredited college or university is required.
• Willingness to travel if necessary.
• Self-driven and results-focused with a commitment to performance accountability.
• Completion of self-study, training, and testing is mandatory; eligibility for advancement through training and sales certifications is contingent upon passing required examinations.
• Strong skills in planning and prioritization.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate the business landscape, interpret territory analytics, and leverage team insights to identify business opportunities and drive sales outcomes.
• Capability to learn, apply, and enhance knowledge of disease states is essential.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills across various platforms (phone, fax, email, and virtual engagement tools).
• Experience in cultivating long-term relationships and demonstrating value.
• Proficient in computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office and experience with data entry in Veeva.
• Ability to learn quickly and manage a high volume of calls.
• Strong work ethic, with a dedication to accomplishing tasks while upholding high ethical standards in business.
• Capacity to work independently in a dynamic environment and adapt to changes in HCP office processes and procedures to facilitate prescriber access.
