This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ensure seamless continuity between patients, clinics, community resources, physician practices, and home settings to enhance patient satisfaction.
• Drive sales, increase billed revenue, and attract new patients in alignment with departmental objectives.
• Enhance patient safety, comfort, and overall well-being while raising awareness of available home medical equipment options.
• Coordinate referrals to guarantee timely admissions and appropriate patient care.
• Accurately obtain, process, and finalize complex orders in a timely manner.
• Manage a high volume of outbound calls in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Generate referrals through sales and marketing avenues and promote the services offered.
• Cultivate long-lasting relationships with patients, families, referral sources, clinics, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to create or enhance educational materials.
• Gather medical information and documentation necessary for supply program orders.
• Validate codes and fees, secure insurance authorizations and physician signatures, and clarify coverage guidelines.
• Arrange payments for non-covered items and recommend alternative equipment when necessary.
• Explain benefits and financial responsibilities to patients while assisting with insurance inquiries.
• Resolve insurance verification issues or delays in collaboration with referral sources and patients.
• Evaluate medical necessity and reimbursement eligibility for prescribed DME/RT equipment.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of billing, documentation, and reimbursement policies for Medicare, Medicaid, third-party, and contracted payers.
• Prioritize urgent or emergency orders and validate as well as log CMNs and PARs as required.
• Facilitate the resolution of patient issues in cooperation with operational teams.
• Identify initiatives to increase revenue, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to problem-solving efforts and sales objectives within the branch marketing team.
• Diagnose and resolve customer complaints, making service-related decisions based on pertinent medical information.
• Communicate the needs of hospital and physician referral sources to sales and operations teams.
• Foster teamwork among branch sales and operational teams.
• Utilize company communication systems to report and manage information.
• Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues while actively participating in team meetings.
• High School Diploma is required.
• An Associate degree from an accredited college is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of relevant work experience in healthcare, administration, insurance, customer service, or management.
• Experience in B2B or B2C sales is preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation abilities.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Knowledge of products and a strong motivation for sales.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects efficiently.
• Mental alertness and the capacity to manage confidential information appropriately.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM Central Time Zone.
