This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ensure seamless communication among patients, clinics, community resources, physician practices, and home environments to enhance patient satisfaction.
• Drive sales growth, billed revenue, and the acquisition of new patients in line with departmental objectives.
• Enhance patient safety, comfort, and well-being while raising awareness of available options among healthcare professionals, physicians, and patients.
• Coordinate referrals to ensure timely admissions and appropriate care for patients.
• Accurately and promptly obtain, process, and finalize complex orders.
• Handle a high volume of outbound calls in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Generate referrals through sales and marketing initiatives while promoting the services offered.
• Build enduring relationships with patients, families, referral sources, clinics, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Marketing to create or enhance educational materials.
• Gather necessary information and medical documentation for supply program orders.
• Validate codes and fees, secure insurance authorizations and physician signatures, and discuss coverage guidelines.
• Arrange payment for items not covered by insurance and recommend alternative equipment when appropriate.
• Clarify benefits and financial responsibilities to patients, assisting with insurance inquiries.
• Address issues related to insurance verification or delays in collaboration with patients and referral sources.
• Evaluate diagnoses and disease states to meet DME reimbursement criteria and suggest additional or alternative equipment as needed.
• Understand cost-effective delivery methods for ordered DME.
• Stay informed about billing, documentation, and reimbursement guidelines for Medicare, Medicaid, third-party, and contracted payers.
• Assist patients and referral sources in identifying alternative providers when services are not covered.
• Prioritize urgent or emergency orders while validating and logging CMNs and PARs.
• Resolve patient concerns in conjunction with AdaptHealth operational teams.
• Identify strategies to boost revenue, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to the branch marketing team’s problem-solving efforts and sales objectives.
• Communicate the needs of hospitals and physician referral sources to sales and operational teams.
• Foster teamwork among branch sales and operational teams.
• Utilize company communication systems to report and process relevant information.
• Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
• Attend team meetings as requested.
• High School Diploma is mandatory.
• Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in healthcare, administration, insurance, customer service, or management, irrespective of the industry.
• Experience in B2B or B2C sales is preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation abilities.
