This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Proactively seek, pursue, and qualify new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting, follow-up on inbound leads, and targeted account development.
• Manage the entire inside sales cycle—from the initial outreach to quote preparation, negotiation, and closing orders.
• Aggressively build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline that aligns with revenue objectives.
• Re-engage inactive or under-utilized accounts to stimulate incremental growth.
• Acquire a solid understanding of industrial and plastics-related products, their applications, and customer use cases.
• Collaborate with customers to grasp technical requirements and suggest suitable solutions.
• Convey technical concepts clearly and in a customer-centric manner.
• Work in partnership with engineering, field sales, service, and operations to provide comprehensive solutions.
• Act as a trusted point of contact for customers, ensuring high levels of responsiveness and professionalism.
• Conduct discovery discussions to identify needs, pain points, and buying motivations.
• Foster long-term account growth through regular follow-ups and value-driven engagement.
• Precisely document all activities, opportunities, and forecasts in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
• Leverage data and analytics to prioritize accounts, manage pipeline health, and enhance conversion rates.
• Achieve or surpass KPIs related to pipeline generation, conversion rates, and revenue.
• Comply with established sales processes while continuously seeking opportunities for improved execution.
• Associate’s degree in a technical, business, or related field OR 3–5 years of relevant experience in inside sales, technical sales, or customer-facing roles in the industrial sector.
• Proven hunter mentality with a demonstrated ability to proactively generate and close new business deals.
• Strong technical aptitude; capable of rapidly learning and comprehending industrial or engineered products.
• Experience in selling to manufacturing, industrial, or B2B environments is preferred.
• Confidence in engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
