Inside Sales Representative – Fitness Education Certifications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Make between 120 and 200 outbound calls each day to prospective students from both warm and cold leads.

• Conduct dynamic phone consultations to uncover goals, establish rapport, and recommend suitable training programs.

• Manage the sales pipeline effectively through a CRM, maintaining thorough notes, tasks, and follow-up actions.

• Close sales within a short timeframe, ranging from the same day to 7 days, employing ethical persuasion and a student-first approach.

• Achieve or surpass monthly enrollment and revenue goals.

• Collaborate with colleagues and leadership to enhance scripts, handle objections, and improve conversion rates.

• Embody ISSA’s mission and brand with integrity and enthusiasm.

• Assist prospective students in selecting the appropriate ISSA education and certification program.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of inside sales experience via phone in a quota-driven setting.

• Capability to maintain high activity levels with 120 to 200+ calls daily.

• Experience with short-cycle or one-call closes, from the same day to 7 days.

• Comfort in working shift-based schedules in a fully remote environment.

• Excellent verbal communication skills, active listening abilities, and empathy.

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding individual sales goals.

• Familiarity with CRMs such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.

• Ability to identify opportunities to utilize AI tools for enhanced efficiency and innovation.

• Experience in B2C or consumer-oriented B2B sales environments is preferred.

• Previous success in outbound sales or lead follow-up campaigns is preferred.

• An interest in the fitness, health, or education sectors is preferred.

• Previous ISSA certification or exposure to the wellness industry is preferred.

• Strong habits in CRM hygiene and data management are preferred.

• Candidates must reside in an ISSA-eligible state: AZ, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, NC, NV, OR, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, or WI.

• Availability to work core business hours from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, Arizona Time.
