This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Proactively identify, pursue, and qualify new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, and targeted account development.
• Take ownership of the entire inside sales cycle—from the initial outreach to quote development, negotiation, and closing orders.
• Aggressively develop and manage a qualified sales pipeline that aligns with revenue goals.
• Re-engage inactive or under-penetrated accounts to stimulate incremental growth.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of industrial and plastics-related products, applications, and customer use cases.
• Collaborate with customers to comprehend their technical requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively in a clear, customer-centric manner.
• Work alongside engineering, field sales, service, and operations to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Act as a trusted point of contact for customers, ensuring high responsiveness and professionalism.
• Conduct discovery conversations to identify needs, pain points, and buying motivations.
• Support long-term account growth through consistent follow-up and value-driven engagement.
• Accurately log all activities, opportunities, and forecasts in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
• Utilize data and analytics to prioritize accounts, maintain pipeline health, and enhance conversion rates.
• Achieve or surpass KPIs related to pipeline generation, conversion rates, and revenue.
• Follow established sales processes while consistently seeking opportunities to enhance execution.
• Associate’s degree in a technical, business, or related field OR 3–5 years of relevant experience in inside sales, technical sales, or customer-facing roles in industrial settings.
• Proven hunter mentality with a successful track record of proactively generating and closing new business.
• Strong technical aptitude; ability to rapidly learn and grasp industrial or engineered products.
• Experience in selling within manufacturing, industrial, or B2B environments is preferred.
• Confidence in engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized, self-driven, and focused on results.
• Experience in the plastics industry, industrial equipment, aftermarket, or engineered products is preferred.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce is preferred).
• Background working with engineers, plant operations, or maintenance teams.
• Proven success in fast-paced, metrics-driven sales environments.
