This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hawaii.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, product applications, and credit terms through various communication channels.
• Suggest products to customers based on their mission type, requirements, and interests.
• Provide price quotes, credit or contract details, warranties, and delivery timelines.
• Employ the ERP system for order processing.
• Input all quotes, customers, and opportunities into Salesforce and manage a sales pipeline.
• Consult with clients after sales or contract agreements to resolve issues and deliver ongoing support.
• Supply customers with product samples and catalogs.
• Create a marketing strategy to connect with new contacts within the current account base.
• Meet sales and margin goals established by your Director.
• Conduct ongoing market research in specific business channels and assist in crafting territory strategies, vendor relationships, and dealer records.
• Address unrequested preferred vendor opportunities on the TLS SOE and FESE contracts.
• Coordinate with the Regional Sales team to provide leads from bid boards or incoming inquiries relevant to their areas.
• Track all bid boards for opportunities within the designated market segment, including sites like DIBBS, GSA Ebuy, Unison, and SAM.gov.
• Associate's Degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in government sales and federal contracting is advantageous.
• Capacity to organize and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across all business levels.
• Strong understanding of assigned sales markets along with company objectives and goals.
• Proven ability to establish rapport and credibility with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
