Inside Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Expand an established portfolio of clients.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.

• Manage a customer portfolio while comprehending their business needs.

• Reach out to customers via phone and email.

• Create new sales opportunities and promote upselling through phone, email, or other electronic means.

• Supervise responses to customer inquiries regarding orders and quotations.

• Seek new sales opportunities through outbound calls and emails.

• Drive sales by managing projects, tracking open sales orders, resolving issues, and delivering excellent customer service.

• Achieve profitable growth by meeting quota targets.

• Provide product pricing using pricing matrices and other tools.

• Develop code directives for specific products while maintaining target margin objectives.

• Execute estimating, take-off, and proposal tasks as required.

• Escalate complex or unusual issues to a supervisor.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is strongly preferred.

• Specialized skills training or certification may be necessary.

• Typically requires 2-5 years of experience in the relevant area.

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Must pass a background and drug screening.

• B2B experience and familiarity with CRM software is advantageous.

• Must be available for the 7am/8am shift from Monday to Friday.

• Generally requires less than 10% overnight travel.
