This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana, +4 more states.
• Acquire new members through both inbound and outbound calls.
• Utilize probing questions and active listening skills to assess customer needs for products and services.
• Provide service to existing members and address inquiries regarding product usage and benefits.
• Cross-sell ancillary and other relevant products to current members.
• Focus on the retention of existing members.
• Keep updated knowledge of CMS and state regulations.
• Demonstrate multitasking abilities while using a computer during phone interactions with prospects and members.
• Record pertinent information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Meet objectives for sales, conversion, and cross-selling.
• Reach out to prospective members within the established performance-plan timeframes.
• Achieve targets related to member retention.
• Maintain high levels of member satisfaction.
• Develop an expert understanding of the company's products, services, and processes.
• Serve as the primary contact for inquiries and issue resolution, managing member relationships throughout the year.
• Collaborate as part of a high-performing team dedicated to professional development and career advancement.
• A 4-year college degree or 1 to 2 years of experience in selling various Medicare products (e.g., Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement).
• Must secure a Life & Health insurance license within 2 attempts and/or 60 days from the start date of employment.
• Frequent use of computers for daily job tasks.
• Capacity to multitask while engaging in phone conversations.
• Exceptional communication and listening skills.
• Self-motivated individual with a positive outlook.
• Ability to manage emotions when interacting with dissatisfied customers.
• Flexibility to thrive in a high-pressure, results-driven environment.
• Ambition to build, manage, and expand a book of business.
• High proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Capability to perform basic mathematical operations without a calculator.
• Must successfully complete annual AHIP Continuing Education, Product Certification, Security and Compliance, Client/Carrier Certifications, and required CMS certifications.
