This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.
• Promotes and sells the range of products and services provided by Braemac.
• This encompasses, but is not limited to, various product lines, quality assurance, and additional value-added services.
• Success in sales is achieved through relationship building and customizing the sales strategy to align with and address customer needs.
• Supplies pricing and delivery estimates within the customer's timeframe, collaborating with branch or corporate product managers and manufacturers to secure the most competitive pricing through communication via telephone, fax, and email.
• Manages customer orders by inputting them into the sales database for quote processing and delivery scheduling.
• Enhances product knowledge by leveraging all available resources, including product literature, factory representatives, product managers, sales managers, and fellow sales representatives, to effectively discuss product options and promote the strengths of Symmetry Electronics.
• Grows the customer account base by compiling lists of potential leads from various sources and initiating cold calls.
• Provides management with insights on sales, marketing strategies, new products, and market approaches by preparing forecasts and activity reports related to the account territory.
• Engages in sales calls alongside Field Sales Representatives to foster sales relationships and build trust with customers and Braemac.
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year institution with one to three years of sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with CRM software (such as SalesForce, NetSuite, SalesLogix, etc.) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of the company's products and services.
• Exhibits strong persuasive abilities, persistence, and effective selling techniques.
• Possesses outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including excellent presentation capabilities.
• Displays strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Must be organized and adept at prioritizing and managing various tasks.
• Capable of calculating discounts, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
• Proficient in writing reports and correspondence in a professional manner.
• Able to read, analyze, and interpret business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision and making sound decisions.
• Possesses a working knowledge of company policies, procedures, and computer systems.
• Ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word) is required.
