Inside Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Lead, coach, mentor, and nurture a team of Inside Sales representatives focused on selling to promotional products distributors to meet individual and collective sales objectives.

• Formulate and execute sales strategies and processes aimed at enhancing conversion rates.

• Analyze sales metrics to uncover trends, opportunities, and potential areas for enhancement.

• Leverage our proprietary systems and tools to track performance indicators based on daily activities (bookings and revenue, calls, and samples distributed).

• Establish, document, and promote consistent sales-related processes throughout the team.

• Conduct regular performance evaluations, offer coaching and feedback, and identify areas for training and development.

• Address escalated customer concerns, large quotes, and negotiation situations as necessary.

• Cultivate strong relationships with key accounts, assisting representatives with pricing, customization, and shipping logistics.

• Recruit, onboard, and train new inside sales representatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.

• 5–7+ years of sales experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a management or supervisory capacity.

• Experience in the promotional products sector is essential.

• A solid understanding of imprinting techniques, customization options, product timelines, and industry pricing.

• A demonstrated history of meeting or surpassing sales targets and enhancing team performance.

• Strong leadership, mentoring, and team-building capabilities.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, metrics-oriented environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
