Inside Sales Diagnostic Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.

📋 Description

• Identify, qualify, and finalize sales for IDEXX’s Rapid Assay, Chemistry, and Fecal divisions through phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings.

• Work in conjunction with field-based Veterinary Diagnostic Consultants in designated areas to prioritize sales opportunities and drive revenue through product adoption, utilization, and conversion.

• Establish strong customer relationships, gain insights into customer needs, and offer customized solutions.

• Collaborate with the wider commercial ecosystem to execute and realize growth initiatives.

• Maintain an active sales-opportunity pipeline utilizing sales tools within a high-volume outbound calling and emailing environment.

• Facilitate product sales discussions, recognize opportunities, secure agreements, close sales, and support continued customer adoption.

• Create, implement, and uphold leads for the IDEXX field sales network.

• Partner with the Companion Animal Group Commercial field team to provide customer training and education.

• Meet quarterly and annual sales targets.

• Advocate for and represent the IDEXX brand.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in selling products and/or services primarily through telephone and internet channels.

• Candidates located in MST or PST time zones are preferred.

• Experience in diagnostic or life sciences sales is advantageous.

• Proven track record in developing new accounts and/or generating new business from existing clients.

• Experience in pursuing sales leads within a designated territory.

• Skill in executing sales strategies, identifying new opportunities and leads, and utilizing sales tools to achieve sales results.

• Capability to perform core activities with some support or guidance from a manager.
