This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Promote Advarra products and services to clients and prospects within designated segments (Sponsors, Academic Medical Centers, Health Systems, and/or related sites)
• Oversee a pipeline from initial engagement to contract finalization
• Meet booking, revenue, and profit goals within assigned account territories
• Recognize sales opportunities through daily prospecting, qualifying leads, and effectively utilizing Advarra resources to achieve successful outcomes
• Regularly achieve booking, revenue, and profit targets within the designated territory
• Conduct daily prospecting activities using various methods (calls, emails, messages, etc.) to build a robust pipeline
• Manage and maintain a pipeline of potential clients and opportunities in the CRM system
• Take direct responsibility for finalizing sales transactions with clients and prospects
• Collaborate with the Contracts & Legal team to facilitate mutual NDAs, MSAs, and other agreements
• Work in conjunction with Advarra’s Service & Solution Sales Teams (SSDs) to aid in pipeline advancement
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to follow up on leads generated from marketing campaigns
• Deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations virtually
• Maintain and update contact, account, and opportunity information within company systems as directed, including Salesforce
• Provide outstanding customer service and foster strong, long-lasting client relationships
• Prepare and present precise sales reports and forecasts to management
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• 1-3 years of experience in direct sales, account management, or business development
• Preferred experience in enterprise software and healthcare and/or clinical research
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in computer usage within a web-based environment
• Ability to earn executive credibility, navigate organizational political dynamics, and maintain competitive awareness
• Strong business planning skills
• Solid analytical and technical capabilities
• Self-driven, able to take responsibility, and work effectively in a professional team setting
• Proven track record of consistently exceeding targets
• Demonstrated persistence and determination to achieve objectives
