This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Investigate and verify the details of losses for intricate Homeowners Claims.

• Assess coverage and damages, and adjust and negotiate claims within authorized limits.

• Offer guidance and support to junior team members.

• Collaborate with designated fraud or subrogation representatives to achieve optimal outcomes.

• Recognize and identify components of residential construction and repair, including structural integrity and home systems.

• Identify complex customer needs and address them utilizing effective customer service skills.

• Assess the potential for subrogation or fraud and determine appropriate handling methods.

• Leverage an advanced understanding of company insurance policies, the insurance sector, and organizational dynamics.

• Conduct independent investigations into all facets of complex Homeowners first-party claims, encompassing coverage, damages, and subrogation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Enhanced experience at the Adjuster II level or rotation into a specialized role such as Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Litigation, Large Loss, Water Mitigation, or Desk Review.

• Advanced knowledge of insurance policies offered by the company, the insurance industry, and organizational relationships.

• Familiarity with residential construction and repair, including structural integrity and home systems.

• Capability to investigate complex Homeowners first-party claims involving coverage, damages, and subrogation.

• Proficiency in determining coverage, damages, fraud potential, and handling subrogation matters.

• Ability to adjust and negotiate claims within an increased level of authority.

• Capacity to operate with discretion and independence.

• Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States.

• A dedicated, distraction-free workspace when working from home.
