This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri, +1 more state.
• The Inside Account Manager acts as the main point of contact between the company and designated customer accounts, ensuring outstanding service throughout the entire customer journey.
• This role involves managing customer relationships, coordinating order fulfillment, maintaining precise forecasts, assisting with quotation processes, and addressing customer inquiries while collaborating with Sales, Operations, Engineering, Planning, Quality, and Finance.
• A key contributor to providing an exceptional customer experience by ensuring accurate order processing, proactive communication, prompt issue resolution, and compliance with customer and regulatory standards.
• Oversee assigned house accounts and function as the primary internal contact for customer questions.
• Engage in customer meetings and deliver status updates as needed.
• Assess customer purchase orders (POs) for adherence to terms and conditions.
• Input and manage orders in the ERP system (Syspro).
• An Associate's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in customer service, account management, inside sales, or order management within a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with ERP systems (Syspro preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Capability to prioritize various projects while adhering to deadlines.
• Proven problem-solving skills and proficiency in managing customer relationships.
