This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities from a specified list.
• Develop an effective go-to-market business strategy.
• Recognize and qualify potential leads.
• Cold-call C-suite executives to schedule new appointments.
• Evaluate the needs of prospective customers using a consultative approach.
• Leverage insight and consultative selling techniques to challenge the thinking of prospects.
• Facilitate high-level financial discussions with C-suite executives and business owners.
• Implement highly targeted multichannel account campaigns to engage business executives.
• Acquire extensive technical product knowledge and lead demonstrations of software/platforms.
• Maintain a rigorous sales pipeline, ensuring accurate data capture and reporting.
• Initiate and engage in constructive feedback sessions with partners and senior leadership.
• Acquire new customers through a systematic outbound selling approach.
• Conduct all prospecting and customer interactions in alignment with Capital One's guidelines.
• Actively participate in fostering a dynamic and high-integrity sales culture.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales.
• At least 3 years of experience achieving or surpassing sales targets.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in prospecting, cold-calling, and pipeline development.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in outside customer sales (preferred).
• Experience in SaaS Sales (preferred).
• Background in early-stage product sales, market testing, or incubation environments (preferred).
• Experience in the financial, commercial lending, or commercial payments sectors (preferred).
