This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Participate in project teams as a security specialist and consultant for product enhancements and new offerings.
• Shape the design and functionality of endpoint protection solutions, with a focus on endpoint sensors.
• Develop and refine threat models to inform security-related decisions.
• Analyze application source code to identify security vulnerabilities and flaws.
• Conduct attacks on endpoint applications with kernel components, primarily prior to production deployment.
• Collaborate with developers to communicate issues, risks, and design weaknesses, and to propose solutions.
• Create tools and automate security-related tasks.
• Validate and reproduce specific bug bounty reports and search for similar issues in impacted applications.
• Over 10 years of experience in engineering, preferably within the security domain.
• Proficient in programming or evaluating the security of C/C++ applications on Linux.
• Deep understanding of system internals and security features relevant to Linux.
• Comfortable with concurrency considerations in multi-threaded applications.
• Knowledge of the security implications associated with containerization and virtualization.
• Familiar with software development and delivery in Agile/DevOps-like settings.
• Strong grasp of common software vulnerabilities affecting endpoint and client/server applications.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across various technical teams.
• Demonstrated experience in leveraging AI technologies to enhance decision-making, optimize workflows, and improve efficiency while driving business results.
• Experience with Rust & Go programming is a plus.
• Familiarity with debuggers such as Ghidra, IDA Pro, or similar tools is an advantage.
• Experience in application security automation is a plus.
• Background in threat modeling, particularly STRIDE, is advantageous.
• Experience with application penetration testing is a plus.
• Skills in reverse engineering, malware analysis, or related security research are beneficial.
• Must possess legal eligibility to work in Canada.
