Ingeniero/a de IA – Google Cloud Vertex AI, Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design, deploy, and manage generative ML and AI solutions on Google Cloud Vertex AI

• Implement recommendation engines, semantic search, and automated content classification

• Develop metadata pipelines and analytics for content and user catalogs

• Train and deploy machine learning models and LLMs into production

• Apply MLOps practices: versioning, monitoring, and retraining of models

• Collaborate with product and data teams to prioritize AI use cases

• Document technical decisions and transfer knowledge to the internal team

• Monitor and optimize computing and inference costs in Vertex AI

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in Machine Learning and AI, with at least 1-2 years in production using Google Cloud Vertex AI

• Strong expertise in end-to-end MLOps architectures and workflows

• Mastery of generative models, LLMs, embeddings, and semantic search

• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) in GCP

• Ability to work with large-scale datasets and content metadata

• Independence and problem-solving skills to bring models into production

• Fluent English (minimum B2+) is required, as the role involves collaboration with international teams

• Must be based in Latin America

• Previous experience in streaming platforms or recommendation engines

• Google Cloud certifications (Professional Machine Learning Engineer or Data Engineer)

• Experience in providing training or mentoring teams in AI
