This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Assist in the virtual validation of the durability of key vehicle systems **(body structures, chassis, underbody shields, drive units, battery pack (ESS).**

• Support the development of load case models according to Rivian standards.

• Execute durability simulations under supervision.

• Generate preliminary technical reports with the assistance of senior engineers.

• Participate in weekly technical sessions to review models and results.

• Collaborate with design teams to propose basic technical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of experience in Structural Analysis.

• Knowledge in structural mechanics and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).

• Basic experience with Abaqus and/or LS-Dyna for durability analysis.

• Experience with body structures, chassis, underbody shields, drive units, battery pack (ESS).

• Ability to interpret load models and simulation results.

• Familiarity with basic simulation and reporting standards.

• Proficient with CAD tools (CATIA, NX).

• Foundational knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.

• Advanced English proficiency.
