This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Spearhead the development and execution of a project management platform tailored for infrastructure and mission-critical initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and client needs.
• Engage with a variety of stakeholders, such as facilities management teams, mission-critical clients, construction project groups, architects, engineers, general contractors, and IT professionals, to collect requirements and devise effective solutions.
• Manage the platform's capabilities for monitoring construction timelines, budgets, permits, change orders, and quality control specifically for office space projects.
• Direct a team of construction project managers focused on infrastructure and mission-critical projects, allocating assignments, offering guidance on construction best practices, and ensuring the successful completion of office build-outs and renovations.
• Guarantee that the platform facilitates a comprehensive lifecycle management of infrastructure and mission-critical construction projects, encompassing pre-construction planning, design coordination, construction administration, and post-occupancy services.
• Continuously enhance the construction platform by pinpointing improvements in construction workflows, assessing new construction technologies, and integrating best practices for office space delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in construction project management, particularly in infrastructure and mission-critical construction, tenant improvements, and workplace projects.
• A minimum of 7-10 years of project management experience.
• Familiarity with construction processes, including design development, permitting, construction administration, and occupancy.
• Knowledge of real estate portfolio engineering standards, office building systems, and infrastructure and mission-critical construction practices.
• Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and quality control processes in office construction.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, coupled with authentic communication and active listening skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to ask insightful questions that promote innovation.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with project stakeholders and vendors.
• Capability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments while focusing on continuous improvement.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes that surpass client expectations.
